Simon Littler, CEO and Founder
From a career selling rare wines to serious collectors worldwide, Simon's vast range of knowledge and contacts in the industry led to the development of Global Wine Co. A former chef and restaurant owner, Simon founded the World Wine Exchange, an online stock exchange for collectable wine, and was most recently Managing Director of PPV, a California vineyard development fund.
Peter Harrison, VP Marketing
An expert in online marketing, Peter was previously VP of Marketing at Travelocity and is a veteran of the Internet start-up world. Peter heads-up Business Development with Simon and then works closely with partners to guide their marketing programs.
Jennifer Morris, VP Operations
Jennifer was previously VP Logistics at Williams-Sonoma, and was member of the Consumer and Retail Industries Practice at AT Kearny, primarily working with retailers on improvement initiatives in all areas of operations Jennifer oversees all customer operations and fulfillment including the expansion of VinShip business.
Kent Fitzgerald, VP Sourcing
Kent was most recently VP of Marketing and Brand Development for The Henry Wine Group, an importer, distributor and broker of fine wines. Previously, Kent as National Beverage Buyer, developed the nationally recognized Cost Plus World Market wine program. With extensive travel to all wine growing regions and one of the best palates in the business, Kent has spent more than 30 years discovering the best wines from around the world.
John Davis, VP Information Technology
As President of his own IT consulting firm, John built teams, architected solutions, and managed projects for corporate and government entities of all sizes. His achievements earned favorable recognition in government and political circles. John developed and managed the platform for OpenTable, the successful online restaurant booking service. He leads a strong development team, which includes in-house and external contractors and off-shore development.
Donald Munro, VP Editorial, Founder and Board Member.
Before joining Global Wine Co, Donald spent 16 years with investment banks in New York, London and San Francisco, most recently as a Managing Director at Montgomery Securities and Bank of America Securities. Donald is involved with fund-raising and oversees our wine editorial process.
Mark Elder, CFO
Mark has a track record of success in senior management and financial roles at a number of start-ups, most recently running online apparel retailer Swell.com. He oversees finances, modeling and fund-raising.
