Kristen Decker, President
Kristen R. Decker is President of Global Wine Co, Inc. Kristen was a founding member and the Chief Financial Officer of Headlands Asset Management and Paul Financial. Ms. Decker managed all financial planning and reporting functions for the companies as well as legal, licensing, treasury and human resources. She was the Controller of Headlands Mortgage Company from 1993 to 2000, was part of Mr. Paul’s IPO team in 1998 and Chief Accounting Officer following the IPO. Previously, she was an investment analyst at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, and a Senior Auditor with KPMG, LLP. Ms. Decker received an MS in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a BA in Business Administration from Sonoma State University.
Simon Littler, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Sourcing
From a career selling rare wines to serious collectors worldwide, Simon's vast range of knowledge and contacts in the industry led to the development of Global Wine Co. A former chef and restaurant owner, Simon founded the World Wine Exchange, an online stock exchange for collectable wine, and was most recently Managing Director of PPV, a California vineyard development fund.
Jennifer Morris, VP Operations
Jennifer was previously VP Logistics at Williams-Sonoma, and was member of the Consumer and Retail Industries Practice at AT Kearny, primarily working with retailers on improvement initiatives in all areas of operations Jennifer oversees all customer operations and fulfillment including the expansion of VinShip business.
Aron Smetana, VP Information Technology, Chief Information Officer
Aron draws on public and private sector experience in oversight of infrastructure and custom software development. He has supported groups ranging from e-commerce to an entire University campus with 20,000 users. During the dot.com era Aron worked in IT for bebe Stores, Inc. Recently he has worked on several initiatives to virtualize systems for lower environmental impact and systems flexibility. Aron holds his MBA from San Francisco State University and a BA from the University of Montana.
Donald Munro, VP Editorial, Founder and Board Member.
Before joining Global Wine Co, Donald spent 16 years with investment banks in New York, London and San Francisco, most recently as a Managing Director at Montgomery Securities and Bank of America Securities. Donald is involved with fund-raising and oversees our wine editorial process.
Katy Dillwood, CFO
Katy Dillwood has over thirty years of experience in the accounting field as a public accountant for Arthur Andersen in San Francisco, and Controller of a large regional residential home construction company in Santa Rosa prior to joining Global Wine Co, Inc. as Controller. She has managed all aspects of the finance and accounting functions, including cost accounting, financial planning and reporting, loan acquisition & administration, human resources, IT and implementing internal systems and controls. Katy has a BS degree in Business & Accounting from University of the Pacific and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She also serves on the Windsor Unified School District Board of Education and runs a statewide scholarship program for high school women.
